 What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a complementary therapy that stimulates the natural healing ability of the body by the application of pressure to specific points (reflexes) found on the feet.
How can Reflexology Help me?
Following injury, illness or stress, the body is in a state of imbalance and vital energy pathways can become congested and blocked. A trained reflexologist can detect these blockages. Skilled application of reflexology techniques can gently stimulate the natural healing ability of the body, allowing it to return to a state of healthy balance.
Reflexology can:
o Stimulate the release of toxins
o Ease tensions
o Boost energy levels
o Promote natural healing
o Improve circulation
o Calm and relax the body and mind
o Restore a natural state of balance to body and mind
Once in balance, a regular treatment will help to maintain health and well-being. Many people now use Reflexology as a way of relaxing, restoring their energy levels and maintaining their health.
Who can Benefit from Reflexology?
Reflexology treats the whole person, not the symptoms. For this reason most people benefit from treatment. It can bring relief to a wide range of conditions. It is a safe therapy, suitable for all ages, from babies to the elderly.
 What happens when you have a treatment
At the first session you will be asked about your health and lifestyle. Your feet will then be worked using thumb and finger pressure. Areas of imbalance will be noted and worked accordingly. Discomfort may be felt in these areas but the treatment should generally be pleasant.

You do not need to be suffering from an illness to experience Reflexology. An occasional treatment is an excellent way of maintaining good health.

How many treatments will I need?
The first session lasts for approximately 90 minutes. Subsequent treatments take 50 minutes to 1 hour. Everyone will respond in an individual way to reflexology. Normally clients will see gradual improvements in their health from the very first treatment. As a general guide a course of 6 treatments are recommended in order to gain the maximum benefit from Reflexology.
Additional Techniques
I have trained in a number of additional reflexology techniques, which I will incorporate into the treatment, as appropriate for your individual circumstances. These techniques are described below.
Advanced Reflexology Techniques (A.R.T. reg'd)
A.R.T. is an evolvement of the original techniques. Knuckle pressures and other techniques are used to allow deeper access to the reflexes. This form of treatment can be more painful, however, the use of A.R.T. increases the therapeutic benefits of the treatment.
Vertical Reflex Therapy (V.R.T.)
The reflexes are treated for a few minutes with the client standing, either at the beginning or end of a session. V.R.T. is very good for any muscular or joint problems. It can also be useful with other conditions.
Precision Reflexology
This is a very light technique. It involves the "linking" of 2 or more specific reflexes in order to balance the flow of energy between them.

About Usui Reiki
 Take a bite:
You dont have to believe in Reiki
for it to have a deep effect on you.
You dont have to believe that fruit is delicious
in order to enjoy it.
But you will have to take a bite first.
I am a level 2 practitioner of the traditional Usui Reiki.
The word Reiki said "ray - key" means Universal Life Force Energy. This energy is used as a gentle, non invasive form of "hands-on" healing.
Benefits of Reiki
Reiki restores the balance and haarmony of body and mind. It assists in healing the whole person and is deeply relaxing. It can assist the body on all levels, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. As it is such a natural, gentle therapy, it is totally safe and suitable for all ages. You do not need to hold any particular religious belief to benefit from Reiki.
When Reiki may be used
Reiki can be useful in a wide range of physical conditions, such as
- stress
- Sleep disorders
- Neck and Back problems
- Painful Joints
- Low Energy Levels

What happens during a Reiki session?
Reiki can be received in a number of ways. Normally you will lie, fully clothed on a treatment couch. If this is not comfortable for you, due to back injury etc., you can sit in a chair. The practitioner will hold their hands over your body in a series of positions and channel the Reiki healing energy. You may be aware of a feeling of deep peace, relaxation, tingling or warmth whilst this is happening. A full treatment lasts one hour.

Angelic Reiki
Angelic Reiki healing is a system of healing that has been passed down to humanity by the Archangel Metatron. It is one of the highest forms of healing available at this time. It works on a very deep level to produce profound and wonderful effects. The healing received at each session is under the guidance of the Healing Angels and is exactly right for the individual at that time.
During a session a down pouring of soul energy is received from the Healing Angels. This vibrational energy dislodges any old thought forms that are not in tune with your Divine "being" to enable you to move forward. Angelic Reiki has a positive effect on all areas of your life.
It eases physical, emotional and mental conditions.
It encourages the body to re-balance and rid itself of toxins.
It can bring relief to a wide range of conditions including:
Stress, Anxiety, Chronic Fatigue, Insomnia, Depression
Angelic Reiki can be used to heal issues of a spiritual nature; also issues that are now surfacing that have been carried at a cellular level over many incarnations.
What happens during an Angelic Reiki session?
As with all therapies the session will start with a discussion of the reason for your visit. You will then be made comfortable in a reclining chair. During the treatment I hold my hands lightly touching, or just above, your shoulders. The Healing Angels will guide the energy to the appropriate areas. You may experience tingling and warmth during the session. You may also receive guidance in the form of inner visions or a sense of "knowing". At the end of the session any guidance that has been received can be discussed. A session lasts for 1 hour. A crystal will also be charged with the Angelic Reiki vibration. This can be taken with you and used to maintain the healing energy.

Thermo Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candles)
This therapy is based on a traditional healing technique used by the Hopi Indians. It is a gentle and effective treatment for conditions of the head, ear, nose, and throat. It is relaxing and calming.
How Thermo Auricular Therapy works
The ear candle, which looks like a fat straw, is lit and gently placed into the ear. It is supported at all times by the therapist. As the candle burns, it creates a "chimney effect", a light suction action. This causes a warm, soothing, massage like effect in the ear. It helps to balance the pressure in the ears, forehead and sinuses. The warmth stimulates blood circulation. Energy points and reflexes are also stimulated.
About the Ear Candles
I only use the original Biosun ear candles for this therapy. They are based on an old original Hopi Indian recipe, which includes the herbs, Chamomile, Sage and St. Johns Wort. All the ingrediants are organic. The ear candles have a European certificate for medical products. They are extremely safe. They DO NOT drip.
What happens during a treatment?
At the first appointment a case history will be taken and you will then lie on a couch for the treatment. The candle is lit and placed into the ear. It takes approximately 10 minutes for the candle to burn down. During this time you may hear crackling noises, a little like listening to a log fire burning. The candle is removed and the ear and surrounding area is massaged for a few minutes to stimulate the energy points in this area. Both ears are treated in this way, even if there is only a problem with one ear. The treatment is concluded with 15 minutes of Reiki or 15 minutes of reflexology. A Hopi Ear Candle treatment can be a meditative experience as well as being beneficial to health.
What conditions can Thermo Auricular Therapy treat?
Thermo Auricular therapy can be beneficial in any condition relating to the head, ear, nose and throat. It is soothing, calming and balancing. Conditions that have been shown to respond to the ear candle treatment include:

- "Glue Ear"
